What personal data MyCarDealer processes, why, who receives it and what your rights are.

1. Who processes your data

The controller of your personal data is Techdrive s. r. o., with its registered office at Novomeského 3918/21, 058 01 Poprad, Slovakia, Company ID (IČO): 56377797, Tax ID (DIČ): 2122285990, VAT ID: SK2122285990, registered in the Commercial Register of the District Court Prešov, Section Sro, Insert No. 48206/P.

For any question about personal data, contact us at info@automarza.sk or by phone at +421 948 551 551.

We process data in line with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Slovak Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on the protection of personal data.

2. Car valuation on the website

The valuation itself needs no personal data. You only enter details about the car.

If you ask us to e-mail you the result, we process your e-mail address to deliver it and to follow up on our offer. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry. We keep the address for at most 12 months and delete it on request at any time.

3. Dealer account

When you request access and use the platform, we process the name of the contact person, e-mail, phone, company name and registration number, account settings and records of how the service is used. The legal basis is the performance of our contract with you.

We check the company registration number in public business registers to confirm that the applicant is a car dealer.

Account data is kept for as long as the account exists. After cancellation we delete it on request, except data we must keep by law. Accounting records are kept for 10 years as required by the Slovak Accounting Act.

4. Auction and portal accounts you connect

If you connect an auction portal account, we store its login details encrypted (AES-256-GCM) and use them only to download lots on your behalf. They are never shown to anyone, never sent to your browser and never written to logs. You can disconnect the account at any time, which deletes the stored credentials.

5. E-mails to car dealers

We send e-mails about the service to car dealers whose business contact details are publicly available in directories and on their websites. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in offering the service to businesses in the trade.

Every e-mail contains an unsubscribe link. Once you unsubscribe or reply that you do not want our e-mails, we stop sending them.

6. Payments

Card payments are processed by Stripe as an independent controller of payment data. We only receive confirmation of the payment, the amount, your e-mail and billing details. We never see your card number.

7. Who receives your data

We do not sell data. Only the suppliers that help us run the service have access to it, and only to the extent needed for their work:

  • Vercel – hosting of the website and storage of photos
  • Supabase – database (servers in the European Union)
  • Stripe – payments
  • Websupport – sending e-mails
  • Telegram – internal operator alerts about events in the service
  • providers of listing-text and photo-editing tools, if you use these add-ons

Some suppliers are based outside the European Union. Transfers then rely on a European Commission adequacy decision or on standard contractual clauses.

8. Cookies and analytics

We measure traffic with Umami, which uses no cookies and collects no personal data. It cannot identify an individual person.

The website stores only these items in your browser:

  • dealer account sign-in (strictly necessary, 30 days)
  • the source of your visit, such as a link from an e-mail or an ad, so we know where interested dealers come from (30 days)

We use no third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

9. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • obtain information about the data we hold about you and a copy of it
  • have inaccurate data corrected
  • have your data erased or its processing restricted
  • object to processing based on legitimate interest, including e-mails
  • receive the data you provided to us in a portable format

Send your request to info@automarza.sk. We reply within one month at the latest.

If you believe we process your data unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic, Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava (www.dataprotection.gov.sk), or with the supervisory authority in your own EU country.

10. Changes to this document

When the way we process data changes, we update this document and its effective date. For a material change we notify registered users by e-mail.
